Their article states that sales volume of single family homes in Victoria fell 22% comparing November 2012 to November 2011.  In a large graph, in the same article, the author states the sales have plummeted over the last year, with a large red arrow showing the 22% drop.

In the year 2012, the reality is that 2907 single family homes sold compared to 3069 in 2011.  That is a drop in sales volume of 5.5% from year to year.  A far cry from the 22% Maclean's article is stating.  I must say I am very disappointed that this Canadian news magazine either does not use reliable writers or is willing to sacrifice integrity for sensationalism to boost sales.

After we arrive in San Francisco, our 2 1/2 hour connection grows to 3 hours.  Within in 10 minutes of landing in Victoria, we are advised there is heavy fog and not enough fuel to wait it out. Now, we are in Seattle.  It takes about 3 hours to sort out hotel reservations and ticket exchanges.  By the time we get to our hotel, it is 2AM and we have been up for about 27 hours.

If you can believe this, it gets worse!  They rebook us on a flight the next morning at 11:45AM to fly to Victoria, but it is also more than an hour late.

A fun trip, but difficult way home!

Bath is a fabulous city located not far from London.  The Georgian architecture is stunning and don't even get me started on the Roman Baths.

Below is a bad photograph of the "Royal Crescent", which along with the "Circus" are very fancy pants locations to live.  The photo is bad as my "media director" AKA my wife, allowed the battery in her camera to die.

At any rate, The Royal Crescent and The Circus were built in the 1700's by a father/son team, called John Wood the Elder and John Wood the Younger.  Both are made up of a mix of single family homes, council housing and businesses.  At the moment, there is one for sale in the Royal Crescent for 3,400,000GBP plus another 900,000GBP for the basement!  It did indeed look stunning!  Each set of chimneys represents a separate unit.  I believe there were about 20 in total.
